# My Norfolk Island Pine has 1 bigger healthy, lush stalk and three…

My Norfolk Island Pine has 1 bigger healthy, lush stalk and three smaller, dry stalks. The dry stalks have been this way for several weeks in spite of improved watering schedule and fertilizer. Is it okay to cut them at the soil level or will that damage the healthy main plant?

Thanks. I did as you suggested. It looks good and hopefully will thrive with the current watering schedule
