# Can someone please help! My grandmother passed away 18 years ago and…

Can someone please help! My grandmother passed away 18 years ago and left me this plant. About a week ago I used fertilizer on my plants including her plant. I believe I poisoned my plants (wrong fertilizer/water mixture) and she (my plant) has been going down hill and this is the last living memory I have of my grandmother. I rinsed her out but I’m sure what else I can do to save her. Please help me!

I would re-pot it in new / fresh soil \& trim off the dying leaves. Other than that I’d probably just leave it alone for awhile, if you move it or do too much else to it it might get even more stressed out

I have two similar heirloom plants and if they died I would be so heartbroken.

Something that I’ve found to help me is to take a very clear picture and run it through ChatGPT to see what it says. It’s helped me immensely with assessing issues and creating remedies.
