I’m not sure if my little cactus has gotten too much sun or not enough? Does anyone know what these brown spots are telling me?

Mine are doing the same thing! I tried everything- watering more, watering less, repotting, etc but they keep getting more yellow. Help would be appreciated!

I know it’s hard to feel a cactus — but is the yellow/brown soft? you can’t give a cactus like this too much sun, really. this is set pretty low in the pot, it wouldn’t hurt to put it in a terra cotta pot with more soil. being that low in a plastic pot will trap moisture that your cactus doesn’t appreciate, and that would cause yellowing like this.

Thank you! I have a pot I can transfer it to, and I will try to set it somewhere else. Will the color change or will it stay this way?

it will stay this way. whether it’s yellowed from stress or just corking from age, once a plant yellows it can’t go back to green, but hopefully it won’t spread
