# help! my hoya was finally taking off but she was in very chunky soil…

help! my hoya was finally taking off but she was in very chunky soil that dried too fast - so i repotted her in slightly more dense soil. but is she being overwatered??? she’s lost 3 yellowing leaves now :( but her roots are new and look healthy! confused. she’s in a SW window in ambient 40-50% humidity

I'd put it back in the chunky soil

Put it back in chunky soil to stop the yellowing from overwatering in dense soil. Check for root rot. Water as soon as the chunky soil completely dries.
