# Hi I was gifted an anthurium. The plant is still growing new leaves…

Hi

I was gifted an anthurium. The plant is still growing new leaves so I don’t think I’ve killed it. However, throughout the year it’s lost all of its flowers and hasn’t grown any new ones. It’s still pretty but I’d love to grow some new flowers. Any tips?

i have one as well, didn’t even know it grew flowers…  
it’s in pretty bad condition though ☹️

Is yours left in direct sunlight? That leaf looks burnt

i’m in northern virginia, it sits on a windowsill that faces south east

My house is north facing but I had to move it out of the window as the leaves were being scorched by the sun. I’d move yours out of the window and see if the leaves recover

This is how mine looked when it was in the window. I ended up cutting off the brown leaves
