# What should I do with these leaves?? She came with some rips and dark…

What should I do with these leaves?? She came with some rips and dark spots, more than likely shipping damage from Lowe’s. Will it heal or do I need to cut off the entire leaf? There are 3 new leaves forming so I know the plant is doing well enough to grow but there also has been a gnat issue that I’ve posted about previously. The bug situation is improving and I have the sticky traps and dead bug brew otw. I’m wondering if I just need to cut the bottom leaves to reduce the humidity directly over the soil to help with the bugs and because I feel like they just aren’t going to heal - especially the ripped one. Thank you in advance for the advice, I’m a repeat offender when it comes to adding to the graveyard 🫠

It will not heal, but you definitely don’t need to remove it. It will only get worse by more mechanical damage e.g. you snag it and rip it further. The leaf is completely fine otherwise :)
