I got this plant a couple weeks ago and I put it fairly close to a window but out of direct light. There are new leaves but it seems to be dying? I have it in water with a small amount of fertilizer. Don’t know if I should move it closer or farther to the window or i’m just not sure what to do?

The plant could be dealing with stress from the change of environment, leave it alone and I think it’ll be fine

It looks pretty good to me! The best you can do right now is pull off the dead/yellow leaves and let it adjust. If it keeps looking worse it might need liquid fertilizer, or even just to be in an different planting medium (soil, bark, ect).
