Hi plant people! Does anyone know what these strange white spots are on my Pepperomia plant? They are on quite a few of the leaves :(

I can't tell exactly, but they look almost like dried water droplets? Some of my plants get similar looking marks when I don't wipe all the water off their leaves.  
\*my phone screen and eyes are not the best so I may be completely incorrect, it's just my first thought when I saw the pics lol
