# Hey guys. Help me figure out what’s going on with this money plant.…

Hey guys. Help me figure out what’s going on with this money plant. It was doing great and then I started noticing the spots on the leaves. No sign of thrips or bugs so I thought it was getting too much sun and leaf burn. But I moved it to a less direct son location and I’m noticing even the new leaves are getting the same discoloring. Any ideas?

Root check , when was the last repot?

Might be overwatering, and if it’s inside, it might need help with humidity (depending on your location/environment).

The most common problem is overwatering: the trunks hold water so they don’t need much help from us. Soil should be completely dry before watering and the soil needs to drain very well. I mix cactus and tropical soils together and mine is very happy on our porch. The leaves are kinda delicate and can’t take more than a couple hours of direct sun: they do fine with evening sun.
