# Elephant Ear that’s not bringing me joy anymore.. Can someone tell me…

Elephant Ear that’s not bringing me joy anymore.. Can someone tell me why this is happening? I’ve misted \& not misted, placed near a humidifier and not. I’ve been consistent with watering (using the probe method). Had her from one leaf to many leaves to now this.. idk what I’m doing wrong, pls help 😅

Misting doesn’t do anything, bring her next to a window for more light and water without doing probe, also check for rotting roots, pests, and more. Hope this helps!

My elephant ears/alocasias/philos tend to be sensitive to my tap water (MO here!) I let my watering can sit for a good 24 hours before watering them!! You can also use distilled water 😁

Good to know! I do use filtered water but maybe she’s just picky. I’ll try this out! Also, thank you!! They’re so cute and dainty 😍

I’m at a loss then 🤷‍♀️🤣 Some of mine I’ve slowly been converting to leca to try, because most of mine seem to hate me, too!
