# hey I just bought this philodendron moonlight and wasn’t paying…

hey I just bought this philodendron moonlight and wasn’t paying attention to these spots on it. Does anyone know what caused these and if I should be worried or how to take steps to fix it? It’s on several of the leaves. I don’t think it’s thrips because there is no black dots or anything on the under leaves.

I’ve noticed this too on some of my plants, it might be that they’re too close to a cold window or a watering issue (at least in my case).

Ok don’t take my word for it but this kinda looks like my basil which I was told is edema by Planta support. However my dots are much smaller. Perhaps @plantyann might see this she’s very knowledgeable.

I have spots similar to these on my rojo Congo and someone told me it was philodendron rust… I never actually looked up what it was lol since it doesn’t seem to be bothering my plant much.
