Hey everyone, this bird has grown a lot over the last year. I’m not sure when it’ll outgrow its pot. How does it look right now? I’d love to know when re-pot it, if necessary.

Your Bird of Paradise looks great! It seems to be doing well, but here are some signs to help you determine when it’s time to repot:

1\. \*\*Root Bound\*\*: If you see roots poking out from the drainage holes or if the roots are circling the inside of the pot, it’s time to repot.

2\. \*\*Growth Slows Down\*\*: If you notice the plant’s growth slowing down despite ideal conditions, it might be struggling in a small pot.

3\. \*\*Toppling\*\*: If the plant looks too heavy for the pot or leans excessively, it may need more room for stability.

For now, it looks like your Bird of Paradise has some room, but check the roots just in case. Repotting every 2-3 years is typical for this plant, but it depends on its growth. If the pot feels cramped, you can consider repotting it in the spring for the best results!
