# Hiya, My poor Meyer lemon has been battling a mites infestation for…

Hiya,

My poor Meyer lemon has been battling a mites infestation for basically its whole tenure with me. We’ve tried washing each leaf, insecticide sprays, hosing down, and at the most extreme point removing it from the pot, hosing down and scrubbing with dawn from root to leaf, cutting off basically all its branches and scrubbing down its pot and then repotting in fresh soil. No dice. They’ve always returned, so now I just treat it weekly to a misting of lightly soapy water and do a monthly scrub down of each leaf and stem. This has managed to keep it pretty content and even flowering just no fruit which is fine.

BUT, today during our monthly spa session I noticed two of these on the underside of leaves. It doesn’t look like mealy bugs, or Thrips eggs but what on earth is it?? I scrubbed it off and really sprayed that area but any identification help is greatly appreciated!
