# My fire bush croton suddenly has droopy leaves on one stem. It was…

My fire bush croton suddenly has droopy leaves on one stem. It was really dry and the app suggested watering tomorrow so I went ahead and watered it hoping it might come back to life.

There was another stem in this bunch that suddenly wilted then eventually died so I cut it, but I don’t want another one to go. It seems to have new leaves growing so I assume it’s healthy.

It looks like some roots are starting to come out of the drainage holes, so maybe it’s time to repot? I don’t see any signs of pests or disease but I’m also a newbie.

Any advice?
