What is on my pothos?! I’m checking for fungus gnats and I see this fuzzy thing? Should I be concerned?

Its actually on a few parts of my plants. (picture included) I see no aphids or whatever. no fungus gnats and it doesn’t really look like mildew in my opinion.

What I see are roots starting. They sometimes start in the air and look like that, then look more normal once they find water/soil.

I looked it up last night while freaking out and saw they might be aerial roots. I know they’re definitely not mealy bugs! thank you! I just needed a second opinion!

those are aerial roots, the fuzz you’re seeing are the root hairs. they’ll typically only grow like that in the air if your plant is in a really humid environment, they’ll only grow if the root hairs are able to pull water from the air
