Hi plant friends 🥰

Looking for a little help here.

When I brought my ZZ home it was already big and then it became SUPER big. Now I feel like it’s struggling and I am unsure why.

I’ve attached some photos for help.

I’ve noticed the leaves are thinner and smaller than they used to be. I’ve had some yellowing and some drop off too.

I know ZZ are tubers so they are different to work with than something with a traditional root system. I’m not sure how to approach this one.

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated 🥰

I tried to take as many photos as possible. She lives in a west facing window that gets really nice afternoon/ evening sun. I dust her regularly and try to turn the soil too.

I love her and don’t want her to struggle!

Usually it’s a sun problem, but in this case it might be a nutrient problem, do you fertilise?

I do fertilize using the brand “Jacks” and it’s 10-20-30.

I’m thinking with warmer weather to maybe change some of the soil out and add in a new mix?

They are low light plants! It is directly in the window and appears sun stressed to me

Zooming into the photos it almost looks like it has a pest

Woah I’ll look into that. I’ve been cleaning the leaves to see if it helps and I didn’t see anything but I’ll start to spray it regularly with neem oil. I’ll also move it. I know it gets grumpy after being moved
