# Hello! I always seem to have a problem growing Chinese money plants.…

Hello! I always seem to have a problem growing Chinese money plants. The leaves always fall off and the stalks get tall. The plant is near a window, and I water it on the plants schedule. What am I doing wrong??

It might be less sun more water but if it’s getting longer but no new leaves or they are dying it’s trying to reach light

Also - maybe you’re doing this, but don’t just blindly follow the plants schedule. Check the soil and snooze watering if needed. I usually need to snooze once or sometimes even twice on my money plant even though it’s by a window and under a grow light.

Agreed, I feel like they like to dry out a little between waterings so the Planta schedule might be too often for it

I moved my money plant out of the window in direct sun and it’s doing better! I think the plant was drying out! I’ll definitely watch the soil now too! Thank you!!!
