I find, if they’re healthy, they’ll heal themselves just fine.

I do have to mention, it looks like your pot is way too big for this guy. These like tight spaces and to dry out quickly. I wouldn’t go large then 1” bigger than the root ball for a pot size. They hold a lot of moisture in their leaves and don’t do well if the soil stays wet too long. This potentially could be a cause of the crack.

But I can’t see the whole pot so I could be wrong! :)

this is about how big the pot is, i do plan on getting a new one because it doesn’t have draining holes, i think it cracked though because my boyfriend went to move it and the leaves got caught :( but it’s kinda heals both sides of the cut i just wasn’t sure if it would effect it still

No, if it’s mechanical damage they usually handle it pretty well. And if your seeing signs of it healing then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

I definitely would be getting it in a pot with drainage, and it looks a bit too bit (not as large as I thought!). I would downsize though.

You can always get a smaller nursery pot and then just put it inside your decorative pot so it looks pretty.
