Help with my pitcher plant !

Ekkk! I just got this plant and one of the pitchers were brown and wrinkled, it looks like over the last two days another pitcher followed. I haven’t done or changed anything besides gave it water and hung it up by a window.  
Any ideas ?

What’s the humidity like where it’s at? These guys like pretty high humidity

I’m sure it’s not as humid as it requires but I’m guessing it wasn’t good where I bought it too. I’ll try and move it next to a humidifier and see if that helps. Do I need to remove the damaged pitchers ?

They definitely like a humid environment. Also, the change in environment could have shocked it a bit especially if it was a significant change in humidity.

Since you just got it, it's likely stress and humidity. The other possible is growing season starting, but i don't usually see too much loss from that. Id either get it a pebble tray while it adjusts or try a different way to raise humidity, cloche, cabinet, misting, etc.

Thank you. I’ve been misting but maybe it’s not enough.

You should be watering your pitchers w only distilled or rain

This I have not been doing. I will start and see if that helps. Should I remove the brown or damaged pitchers ?

Yes, they don’t grow back
