I placed my plants (this is one of two) outside about two months ago, and it is flourishing, but I’m noticing that the root on some stems creates that black tarnish look and starts to fall off. Do you know what that may be from?

it’s rotting — based only on this picture alone i suspect your pot is way too big, so there’s way more water than the root system can handle \& it’s rotting
