I took my Zz plant out of its decor pot to water it \& I see this. I have never seen this before what could it be ? Is this normal

Are you referring to the roots sticking out or something else?

Aw man you can’t really see it in the picture, but Yess the roots sticking out are fuzzy

It looks okay to me, I’ve noticed that sometimes roots will get fuzzy from extra moisture, which seems to be the case here
