# Help! My ficus Audrey is dying and I don’t know what to do. I’ve had…

Help! My ficus Audrey is dying and I don’t know what to do. I’ve had this plant for 3 years and until recently, it’s been very healthy. Over the last month, she has lost 8+ leaves from the bottom up. At first they just turn yellow and fell off. Now they are turning splotchy yellow and then getting black spots. 4 of the current leaves are healthy, and the pictures are of the 3 that aren’t. What do I do??

I had this too. Healthy leaves will sometimes come off randomly, such as this new growth on the side. However, the top is still pushing out leaves like nobody's business, so as long as you have 1 to 2 healthy leafbuds you should be fine.

Different kinda ficus same problem

My Audrey did the same thing. I thought she had a fungus. I cut off all her leaves and she’s recovering very well. Her leaves aren’t as big yet but she’s grown lots of tiny ones.

That looks like spider mite damage. I'd treat for pests.
