# Hello! This plant has been slowly dropping leaves and I’m unsure why.…

Hello! This plant has been slowly dropping leaves and I’m unsure why. It used to be very bushy and even flowered before so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong :-( it’s near a grow light I thought it was getting too much light because the leaves were yellowing so I moved it but it’s still dropping leaves

I don’t know when you moved it, but it can take a while before you see a difference from location!

When do you water it, how much sunlight does it get? Have you made any other changes?

Please remember that yellowing leaves can indicate a lot of different problems, not just light!

Many peperomia are considered to be semi succulents. They do well in fast draining soil, drying out between waterings and in bright light. I have three of these peps and have always given them this care regimen. The yellow leaf drop sounds like overwatering. Mine are variegated version but exact same care.

Check the roots - I have one of these and it loves to get root rot
