# Ordered this plant off Etsy. It’s a Raven ZZ, was doing amazing for a…

Ordered this plant off Etsy. It’s a Raven ZZ, was doing amazing for a week. I didn’t repot it and placed in a bright spot with indirect sun.

Two days ago I noticed it wilting as if thirsty, I felt the soil and it was bone dry so I gave her a good thorough watering.

Today, she is curling and browning on her prettiest black leaves. I see no signs of pests, any advice?

The humidity is 40% in my home, there’s a possibility it got a tiny bit of sunlight on the leaves but not much

It could have gotten too dry. It should recover and stop drying further since you watered it.

Remove the packing tape to allow good airflow.

Get it more light, if needed. 🪴🍀

Thank you for the tips! I took off the tape, put it in a bright spot. I hope it helps, been wanting a raven forever!
