# My bird of paradise is only producing skinny leaves that are drooping…

My bird of paradise is only producing skinny leaves that are drooping and rippled around the edges. Does anyone have any suggestions to help her grow larger and fuller and fix the rippled leaves?

It is to my understanding the ripping of the leaves is a natural occurrence. The ripping is thought to have the wind pass through the leaves as a prevention for the plant not to be blown over.

What kind of light is it getting? It almost looks like a humidity issue with the leaves possibly struggling to unfurl.

It’s in the living room which has an east facing large window
