These guys have chunky roots that hold a ton of water, so really drying out between waterings is important for them. I check if mine needs water by the weight of the pot, rather than by whether the soil looks/feels dry, cause I can't reach the bottom of the pot with my finger. See if a couple good cycles of watering and then allowing a good dry-out helps!
