This beautiful little girl was given to me it has been getting new growth but the leaves are crispy what should I do?

low humidity or a draft from somewhere.  
you can chop off the growth if you don’t want to see it and maybe move to another area with higher humidity (regularly used bathroom/humidifier) or away from a draft (AC, fan, or drafty window)

A humidifier will help. Cut off the crispy if its more than half the leaf or if you find it unsightly.

My stromanthe does the same thing but it’s just the tips that get get a little crispy. I’ve had my stromanthes for years. It’s all about humidity. Increase the humidity but be carful about attracting pests like fungus gnats or soil fungus if it gets too humid. Watering consistently helps too.  
Consider checking the minerals in your water. That may contribute to the problem.
