Is this a pest?

The heat wave came and the larger pads laid down so I gave them support and placed them in a shadier spot. So I’m not sure if this is a sap or eggs possibly?

I’ve never seen them before. Not sure if the gouge is from something eating it or a stress response from laying down due to heat.

Looks to be like a mix of both.

I bought a dragon fruit cactus from my local UofA and it developed the white furry looking spots they are 100% mealy bugs
