This looks very thirsty. Has it been watered recently? I’ve never seen a hydrangea thrive in a pot like this #### Maddi svarte den 2024-05-08 I'm new to the plant life😣 I noticed it drooping today so I put it outside a few hours ago hoping the sun would help but it got worse quick. It was watered 2 days ago when I brought it home. What kind of pot do you recommend? This is what it was in when I received it. #### eatyacarbs svarte den 2024-05-08 I’ve honestly never seen a hydrangea potted, they really like to be planted in the ground I think, but I’m no expert. Those blooms won’t bounce back but the leaves will be ok. I’m guessing because it’s potted like this it might have different watering reqs #### eatyacarbs svarte den 2024-05-08 When you water make sure you do so until the water runs out of the bottom of the pot to make sure it’s thoroughly wet #### Elapse svarte den 2024-05-08 They need to take in water through the leaves apparently. Try putting it all the way in a bucket of water or watering with a watering can for it bit. Maybe move it back inside to a sunny spot. I moved them to a shadier spot and watered them. This tip is probably best for when they are cut from root though. ### Anna kommenterte den 2024-05-10 I recently got one from lowes, a beautiful dark blue color. Now they are totally green but still beautiful. Mine struggled at first but I finally found the right spot for it and it is much happier now. On my front porch where it gets some shade. I bet I have to water every other day. I usually water when the top of the soil feels dry. I think the blooms will perk up after a while once it gets acclimated to its new conditions. #### Maddi svarte den 2024-05-10 Do you bring it in when it rains?
