# Help ! I’m stupid and repotted this baby when I brought her home and…

Help ! I’m stupid and repotted this baby when I brought her home and didn’t give her a chance to acclimate to my home. I put her in sol soils chunky soil and put in some repot recovery and watered her last night and this morning she looks so pitiful. I moved her under a soft grow light and watered her again since this app told me to re water her. Is there anything else I can do to help her ?? TIA 🫶🏽

😞 poor lil guy. Maybe just give it some time to settle down. I have been guilty of overwatering bc the app said to…I finally got the memo and bought a moisture reader. It’s been invaluable.

Keep up consistent care. You can give it encouragement by playing music, talking to it, or gently touching a stronger leaf or stem. Exhaling on the leaves whenever you pass by can also give it some extra co2 that can help it recover. Otherwise, just let it rest

What was the soil like that she was in originally? If it was wet, I’d say it’s overwatered especially after getting watered twice in same day. I bought one of these a couple weeks ago. Brought it home and immediately repotted into leca. It’s lovin life so far. These plants are very finicky so it may not have been anything you did.

Regular soil with no drainage and it was almost dry. I’m gonna leave it be for a bit and see if she comes back.
