Does anybody know what’s wrong with my red star cordyline, please?

Just spotted these discoloured dry patches on it!

Unfortunately, I think it’s spider mites. 😭 do you see any little white dots in tiny webbing on the leaves?

I don't see any webbing but if it is spider mites you can hold a piece of white paper below the leaves and tap a little bit the mites will fall down on the paper. They don't have to be white they can be red gray black brown they're very sneaky. They look like paprika or pepper. Especially if they move you'll know they're alive.

I can’t see any signs of webs or insects

Mine just bit the dust after I tried 4 different light levels, more water, less water, afternoon shade and cover from hard rain. Dead. But I got my money back!
