# Ruh roh 😳what's happening? She is still in the pot I bought her in…

Ruh roh 😳what's happening? She is still in the pot I bought her in with very spongy soil. I've had her about 2 months. Maybe staying wet too long? Would it be safe to repot with a chunky soil at this point? TIA 🫶🏼

Yes I would investigate the roots from I have learned those spots are a sign for water inconsistency there might be a small amount of root rot I would pull out and investigate

Also if you have humidifier/water spritzer too close without also having airflow the spots could be where moisture was sitting on the leaf for too long, hope you find the problem 🤞🏻

Hmmm that's a thought. I do mist several times a week. 🤔

Maybe just a small fan circulating the humidity after misting could help! I noticed similar spots on my same plant before so that was my first thought!!
