# Hi friends! Pic #1 is a leaf of my prayer plant before my 8 day…

Hi friends! Pic #1 is a leaf of my prayer plant before my 8 day vacation. Just got home, and noticed another leaf behind it is starting to look similar. Any ideas what it could be? I’m ruling out pests as I’ve gone in deep with a flashlight to really make sure— I did have spider mites on a close by plant about 2-3 months ago. Other than a handful of leaves, she’s looking fine and even putting out new growth and has flowered since June.

I hope you find answers, as I’m having the same issue. My research is telling me I need to keep the soil a little more moist.

Did it go 8 days without water? Or did you have someone come water it for you? In my experience they only like filtered or distilled water. Maybe it’s too dry or someone used water that isn’t filtered?
