# I am new to Philodendrons and got this one recently. It looked great…

I am new to Philodendrons and got this one recently. It looked great for a month and now it has this on the leaves. What am I doing wrong? Or what should I do?

Might be getting burnt, I don’t have one but a few of mine do that when their light is on for too long

Watering issue or too much light.

Looks like too much direct sunlight. They like indirect light also your watering could be off

My pleasure I would also suggest switching it into a self watering pot since they like to keep their soil moist, so if you do this the plant can pull what it wants. Also I had someone tell me at the nursery for the tropical plants to consider using purified water..Tap water is so harsh. This is Prissy my pink princess and once I put it in the self watering pot, start using the humidifier it has started growing like crazy and it was the same size of your Mica when I bought it.. good luck
