I’ve seen people mention sticky traps on this app. There’s small kinds that you can stick into the soil. I have personally found that sprinkling cinnamon on the top of the soil helped me! I have not seen any since I started doing this. It could be a total coincidence but I will not stop doing it now lol I also placed clove spikes in the soil but I really think it is the cinnamon that drove them away! Plus it is supposed to inhibit mold growth. They should stay concentrated around the plants, but they can fly over to other areas. They will only reproduce in the moist soil though. I have had the most success with yellow sticky traps and microbe lift mosquito drops. I just mentioned this on another thread, it’s still ‘experimental’ but I think it’s working …. I covered the soil with diatomaceous earth (not super thick but pretty solidly white). The diatomaceous earth discolors and looks bad so I started covering that with a layer of sand. So far so good.
