# My Money Tree was doing really well, nice big full silhouette; but…

My Money Tree was doing really well, nice big full silhouette; but over the last couple of months, it’s been dropping a lot of leaves, and there’s lots of browning. However, at the same time, it’s got lots of new growth, particularly around the base of the plant. Any ideas what’s going on? Is this normal?

I wonder if it's getting sun burnt? Because the new growth may be protected from the light since its at the bottom.
