Definitely an earwig

This might be a stupid question but do they infest plants? Should I be worried?

Earwigs are harmless to plants; they're mostly only attracted to the dark, moist hiding spots plants can provide. To encourage them to stay away, remove any leaf litter and dead plant material, make sure there's good air flow to help things dry between waterings, and consider raising up pots so there's no hiding place under them
