# Dealing with my first fungal infection🙁 and am now worried that I…

Dealing with my first fungal infection🙁 and am now worried that I missed some leaves that may also have it. Are the marks on these leaves fungal related or just due to sun?? The spots on the other leaves were mostly on the back side and darker.

I removed the leaves that I could tell were infected, treated the plant with anti fungal, and am isolating her.

Hi,

What you’re seeing is a response to tap water. The spotted begonia is really picky about what you use to water it. Distilled or rain is best. :)
