Hey, would love some advice on one of my plants, a flamingo plant. I’ve had him for a little while now but i’ve noticed a few brown/yellow-ish spots on his leaves - (see in photos). He was in a bit of a drafty area so i’m going to move him away and I think i accidentally overwatered him the other week. I also have to admit i’ve not been great at remembering to mist him!! Any advice would be great thanks xx
Also i read someone that flamingo plants didn’t like tap water so i was giving him cooled down boiled water, is this correct?

Since you think you overwatered it, and now are seeing some concerning spots, I’d suggest checking the roots for rot. I don’t have any anthuriums, so I don’t have much advice besides standard troubleshooting, but I’d start with that. If there’s any rotted roots, remove them and spray the remaining roots with a water/hydrogen peroxide mix to kill any remaining bacteria.

Of course. Also make sure the pot is no bigger than 1 inch bigger than the rootball (without dirt) on all sides. And it could help to prop the inner pot up so that the surface of the soil is within an inch of the top of the cover pot. This will facilitate airflow around the top of the soil and help the soil dry out.
