Did you move it recently? Or did anything about its environment change? They throw fits very easily if their environment changes

No. i have had it in the same spot since i got it. I moved it over to my desk earlier today to make sure to keep an extra eye on it but it’s been doing this for a few weeks now

which leaves are shedding? top/bottom? also, is there a draft?

more towards the top and the back of the plant. there isn’t a draft.

I gave up on money trees. Everyone said they’re easy, but 🤷‍♀️

A couple money tree tips- some have ties around the rooted end that need to be removed when you check the roots. They like to have indirect sunlight not shade. They are very picky and don’t like to be moved once placed. I have one that is doing great and one I have struggled with for a year. I plan to check for a band on the roots when I repot it in spring

At times it’s natural they focus energy on new growth so the bottom leaves of plants will die because it’s focusing on top growth that’s the reason I started trimming bottom leaves to reserve energy for top growth until I reach the height I want just food for thought 💭
