# Recently adopted this Painted Leaf Begonia from a very experienced…

Recently adopted this Painted Leaf Begonia from a very experienced plant mom. He was super healthy when I got him and previous owner told me to wait a week and repot so I did exactly that. This was not a dramatic size up in pot sized but we did go from nursery pot to terracotta. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Week after I got it versus now. Any help and advice would be much appreciated!

Did you bring it inside? Begonias really want to be outside that’s the only time I’ve ever had success with them

I haven’t! Only because the lady before me just had it sitting in a window so I tried to mimic what she did with it. I’ll give that a try.

I would do it gradually if it’s always been inside. They’re so fussy, I don’t even bother with them anymore. I don’t have the touch!! Good luck

Are you misting it? My begonia has always been super fussy if leaves get damp
