# Hi everyone, I just got this new monstera today and these three…

Hi everyone, I just got this new monstera today and these three leaves have brown spots on them. Does anybody know how to fix this or know what the problem is? Thanks :)

It kinda looks like sunburn. If it is maybe filter the light.

Could be fusarium fungus (it causes brown spots with a distinctive yellow edge.) If the spots don't spread, treat as a sunburn. If the spots get bigger or start to look fungal, it's definitely fusarium. Treatment for it would be to cut affected leaves off (unless they're all affected, in which case remove the worst ones and cut sections (1 inch margin around the fusarium spots) off of mildly affected leaves while it works on making new leaves) and treat with a fungicide (may not be needed if only one leaf was affected. If you have no healthy leaves, use strong treatment. If you have healthy leaves, use a milder preventative dosage on them)

The rest of my leaves are very healthy so i’ll keep a lookout if it spreads, I’m going to get some treatment today so hopefully it helps !! Thank you
