URGENT HELP NEEDED PLEASE 😖!!!

This is nearly two months apart, the health of my plant was already declining a little which i was never sure why since i watered him when i was supposed to. Recently i gave my plant to a friend for a 2 week period, and it seems i accidentally told her to water him too much, so he is now overwatered.

So i am currently not watering him for a while (Before I would normally water him with Tap water and Baby Bio Houseplant food), but i need more help on how to make him happy again. I am desperate to revive his health, he is my one and only plant and it really upsets me. 😣😞

I suggest gently repotting with fresh soil. Check for mushy roots and trim away any you find. Violets are notoriously hard, so don’t feel bad if this one doesn’t make it. Good luck!

I agree a repotted is probably necessary but still risky because they hate being repotted.

If you’re worried about repotting, you can poke several holes in the soil to aerate it and help it dry out faster.

Perfect, is there any specific way to do that?

I use my moisture meter or a bamboo stick, but I think a pen or pencil would probably work just fine! Poke down as far as you can in the pot, just do it gently to avoid damaging the roots. I’d probably poke them all about an inch apart.

I’ve also heard of people helping dry out plants by shoving the corner of a paper towel into the drainage hole, if your pot has one.
