So my Farmers Almanac plant food spikes have started to mold… is this normal? Should I take these out?

Anytime I get mold on my plant I spray hydrogen peroxide to the dirt and some on the plant as well

I think these are more for outdoor use and not meant for container gardening

Thank you I think I’m just going to take them out and just use liquid food.
