# Help - my zebra haworthia has fallen! Still has new growth but outer…

Help - my zebra haworthia has fallen! Still has new growth but outer leaves have dried up. Roots are very small and shallow in the soil (it would be too easy to pull the plant out). I tried planting her deeper in the soil, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I just moved her closer to a window. Previously she was growing well in my kitchen with indirect light. I’ve had this plant just over a year.

From what I see in your pic, that plant needs a lot more light. Normally they do pretty well in less light. Your previous location was way too low light. A bright window is called indirect light. Just means the sunlight is not hitting it.
