I recently bought this Peperomia Rotundifolia and have very little experience keeping indoor plants. It was very small when I bought it and since alot of the leaves have falling off. It has new shoots with what looks like new sprouting on them. I’m not sure if this is normal with this plant as it is a trailing plant, or if I’m doing something wrong. Any advice is appreciated

New growth is always a good sign. The leaf drop may have been due to the change in environment. Just make sure that it does not sit in water. Does your cover pot have a drain hole? If not take the plant out to water it and drain it before you replace it to the cover pot. It should never sit in in water for a long time

Let it dry out before you water again. Stick a chopstick or skewer all the way down in the soil, and wait ten minutes or so to pull it out. If the skewer is dry its time to water. If its damp and has dirt sticking to it, wait. When you water, water til it comes out the drainage holes. Like KJM said, make sure its not sitting in where. And have it close to an east south or west facing window. I don't think there is any spot inside that will be too bright for them, although you might have to acclimate it slowly if its used to a darker spot. And if you ever repot it its a good idea to use a well draining soil, a regular potting mix with some perlite and bark added in is fine.
