I see little worms in my soil, should I be concerned? I try not to over water- it’s been 2 weeks and the top layer is still slightly damp. Are these fungus gnat larva? I have sticky traps and only 1-2 gnats on it.

We would need a photo. Larvae and earthworms look very different. Is it translucent?

Ok I’ll try to snap one- they’re grey

If there are adult gnats on your sticky trap there are likely larvae in your soil. I would treat it with either systemic insecticide or mosquito dunks (or some other product for treatment of mosquitoes in water).

I’ve never heard of this—I agree, a picture would help but I’m assuming they’re gnat larva. Is your soil usually damp/wet?
