Hi everyone! I’ve had this gollum jade for a couple years now. Recently I noticed some roots coming out the bottom of the pot. After some research I’m not sure the best course of action. Does this plant have root rot? Is it root bound? Should I root prune or just repot? The soil is pretty dry so should I do this before or after watering? Any advice is appreciated, thank you!!

It looks root bound. If you want it to stay in the same sized pot, loosen up the roots and trim them. You can ad a little fresh soil and perlite or soil that already has perlite or equivalent. Add water to new soil.

If you want it to get bigger, get a larger pot. You’ll still need to loosen up the roots. Hope that helps.
