She’s in a clear nursery pot and i don’t see any root rot and she’s not directly in the sun. The roots look really healthy, the soil looks good, light looks perfect. I can tell what you’re saying about the leaves they just look very pale. I would recommend making sure the leaves are clean before doing anything too drastic. They look pretty clean in the photo but the dust could make it hard for the plant to get enough light making the leaves pale. It could also be a fertilizing issue so it would be great if I could know if you fertilize and if so, how much. #### Mrs.Beann antwortete am 2025-07-16 I fertilize every time i water since i live in a semi tropical state, should i try fertilizing it less? #### Melody antwortete am 2025-07-16 Sorry to ask so many questions but how much fertilizer do you use at a time and what brand of fertilizer do you use. It might be a good idea to cut the fertilizeing down to once a month in summer and spring and once every 2 months in winter and fall. #### Mrs.Beann antwortete am 2025-07-16 I’m using the purive fertilizer and i follow the directions of one cap to a gallon of water. I’ll give it a try to do once a month with fertilizer #### Melody antwortete am 2025-07-16 One month would be a great start! I definitely think it was the fertilizer and I think the brown tips are also from the fertilizer as-well. You could also fertilize only half or 1/3 as much as you normally do every week. This will not put such a shock on the plant and might be the better option. Neon’s leaves can vary in color and shade. Can also be a sign of needing more light. Mine has several shades of leaves. Sometimes you will get a leaf that is partially green. I think you have one on the left. It’s all normal. It’s hard to see it my pick but there are some various shades on my plant also. Or is it just like excess water from watering it? #### Phil antwortete am 2025-07-16 The brown tips are probably just a humidity issue. If you have your a/c running, house is probably dry. I have a humidifier running next to my needy plants. It’s something you may need to live with. You can try misting and that may be enough for it. Pebble tray would be difficult because it’s hanging. #### Mrs.Beann antwortete am 2025-07-16 I’ll try adding some humidity, i can relocate my plant to not hang and try the pebble tray.
