# Why is my apiderplant stem all browny ish and kinda weak its been in…

Why is my apiderplant stem all browny ish and kinda weak its been in soil for ONE DAY and i pulled the stem up gently and it like that? I watered it ever so gently and ensured full drainage. Whats the cause and can it recover

Put it in a small pot just big enough to hold the roots. Too much soil holds too much water around the roots.

Where did you get that little guy? It does not look like a sufficient piece to propagate.

Got it off a local store , propagated in water for about 3 weeks , transferred to soil and now lile this

If you succeed, kudos to you but I think it looks too tiny to survive.
